    Too bad you don't live near me, or you could just lure Matt to your car with a series of dirtbike videos and snacks and he would just see the parts next to your car and start fixing it.

    If you think I'm totally joking here...this is basically how I get him to do things for me/the house. He has a problem resisting when it comes to fixing things.

    Me: Mister Jeep is making a weird clunk sound. I think he's sick.

    Matt: explains to me what I need to fix in explicit and easy to understand directions

    Me: acts increasingly stupid. flails. pretends I can't find my own set of tools.

    Matt: Nevermind! You're impossible! I'll do it myself!

    He will occasionally have a lightbulb moment and realize I tricked him into fixing things for me by playing dumb...again- He would be mad but he's usually just impressed I weasled my way out of something and made him do it for me, because he really should know better after knowing me for 9 years.
