    So, my bestie hates thick and/or "cakey" chocolate chip cookies and told me that shudder Nestle Toll House tube dough was the best cookie...so, anyway, I've been on a mission to make the best thin and chewy chocolate chip cookie because I refuse to be defeated by a tube.

    The type of cookie depends on the day! Sometimes big fluffy and chewy, other days thin crispy and buttery. Give me the recipe for both of those pleasssssssssssseeeeeeeeeee <3 We have some frozen dough from our last batch, I'mma get husbando to make them for me today because of this.
    You try the official double tree cookie recipe yet? We had been making a knock off and haven't got around to actually trying the real one yet.

    I've been tweaking my nana bunny's recipe since I was a teenager, like a dweebo, so I basically just take that recpie and swap around flour ratios/how I use the butter/whipping times/what I bake it on/temp etc to get the texture I want:emoji_sweat_smile:

    Tbh, I found the doubletree cookies underwhelming? I'm personally not big on light brown sugar in my chocolate chip cookies, it's dark brown or bust! I used browned butter on this batch to make them more spready and it also upped the caramel notes, which was deliiiish.
