    damn that looks awesome! I wish that had been around when my mom was alive, we got a hoverround, and while it was a beast and never broke, we couldn't manage to get it downstairs ever so someone always had to push her. Similar situation, Mom could walk, but had a messed up fused ankle, so long distances weren't going to happen, and eventually, she became an amputee (which actually increased her ability to walk). But yeah, insurance companies are dicks when it comes to wheelchairs. I wish we could make them live with limited mobility for a week before they made their rules, then maybe they'd understand that two legs that aren't completely paralyzed =/= no need for a wheelchair.
