04/23 - Mums The Word Monday

I've just been frustrated doing them, the pay would be fair if every hit were possible, but I'd say less than half of them are worth doing, and of those that can be completed, I suspect a large number don't provide the sort of useful data the requester seems to want.

 

If I cant immediately think of a good sentence I just return it and grab a new one, its not worth sitting there thinking too long about them.

Its also a problem with the people doing the image screening hits not actually screening out the "non interesting" images.

 

Today's going to be a good day...as soon as i turned my PC on it caught a Mad Labs

Hey man. Remember I said my Asus laptop kept crashing and their was an issue with win10 and the graphics card? Well, Asus replaced the Motherboard and the graphics card because it was crashing on the bench during burn in

I just found out when I finally opened it up and saw the work order. They left a bare burn in install on it though so I had to install all the asus apps back

 

In 19 years of using nothing but Asus boards on my system builds I have had one board go bad, and that was after 6 years. And, I use those sucker. They go from primary machine to second to Storage server to voip and on and on to bare minimum linux boxes. So having a board go out scares me

 

I haven't ever seen a motherboard in one of my own computers die but my brother had one die semi recently. I'm not sure what brand it was but

 

I have used Asus with intel chip sets exclusively on my own and installed Intel boards on servers cause Asus doesn't make one. The one Asus board that went out still worked but a couple of the USB ports got messed up
