Just a quick update from us.

We have "qualifier upgrade" tests running continuously for people who already had our qual. Later today or tomorrow we will also begin running a new qualifier for folks who didn't have the original qual. We will also begin running more event validation HITs shortly.

We've been getting emails from people who have had a hard time catching our qual upgrade HIT and I think part of the issue may be that people's search defaults to a minimum payment per HIT. These are priced at $0 because workers had given us the feedback that they'd rather have the promise of a bonus payment if successful than the risk of rejected work if their performance fell below the minimum 50% performance to get paid. So if folks have a minimum set in their search parameters, they won't be able to see the qual upgrade HIT (or the new qual when it comes out).

I made a joke about how trying to prep danish in my kitchen while I was baking off a pie at 425 was one of my worst ideas, and so I gave up making fancy shapes after the first two flowers and just cut the rest into little, tasty blobs. Someone goes, "...don't you have air conditioning?"

Sure, but when you have a small-ish kitchen with crap for ventilation and one AC vent that is across the room from the oven, there's only SO MUCH you can do. It's almost as if I wasn't supposed to be in charge of dessert in the first place, so I hadn't prepped my dough before turning my kitchen into a sauna.
