OTOH, having long hair is an excuse to buy that ribbon with all the adorable Totoros on it, would recommend.

 

Mine looks way shorter than it is. I usually wear it wavy, rather than curly, cause it's just easier to maintain that way, but the only time in the last year I straightened my hair, I looked like my hair had doubled overnight That being said, my hair has fallen out a few times and growing it back was a NIGHTMARE cause my curls do not do well at certain lengths I will never go short again (just personally). I occasionally get the idea and Matt has to confiscate the scissors before I do something I'll regret.

I pull my hair back in a low pony every night before I cook. Otherwise my hair WILL end up in our food.

It's long enough now that I sleep with it braided otherwise I sometimes trap myself by laying on my own hair and I can't roll over or get out of bed without yanking it out from underneath me.

 

I'll.....keep that in mind....

You need a set of ribbons for each season as well as holiday specific ribbons, like one with clovers on it for St. Patricks and hearts for Valentine's etc.

 

This is me. My hair is to my waist WET. It's not when dry, especially if I've scrunched it. If I pick it straight (never, ever use anything on my hair except a wide tooth pick otherwise there is hell to pay...) it might not shrink at much. The longer it gets the less it shrinks due to weight, though.

 

Oh gosh, yeah, braids are a necessity. I feel ya there. I still wake up with my hair under matt's body and about to be scalped sometimes The first thing he does when he wakes up is pat around himself to figure out where my hair is
