    my Hit Forker has started making a sound everytime it checks for HITs (which is every 2 or 3 seconds) - this just started yesterday and I don't know why! It's not the beep sound when it finds a new HIT, it's an annoying sound - and the only sound option I can find is "sound on new HIT" and none of those beeps are what this sound is like, and I can't find that sound in my media directory (I thought if I could find it I'd rename it or something and then it wouldn't be able to make that sound)

    does anyone know what is happening? I've had to mute the site since with chrome you can no longer just mute a tab, so that mean I won't be able to hear any of my other scripts that run on mturk

    I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't help

    Way underpaid for how much you have to do in the study. The first two tasks take way too long, as the snippets provided are too long and are mentally involving. It is tedious, goes on forever, and is draining when you realize that you're not done after these two tasks.

    You have to remember the last 6 letters/numbers of your worker ID, and you can't copypaste that into Inquisit. The completion code also cannot be copypasted, and you have to write that down or remember it and manually type it into the HIT.

    Avoid this at all costs.
