When it rains, it pours. I think I just broke RJ's finger. We were playing basketball and I passed him the ball and he caught it wrong. Heading to the ER.

 

And then do what with it? Block the post? The review? Both? I'm using the exports to help improve QA among users who would be most likely to do what this is attempting to block (let alone probably ticking off users who know what they're doing and don't want TV to wag it's finger at them like the 400/hr HIT reviews - I eat that bullet because it legitimately does serve more good than it causes me headache). Anecdotally, most users who review bomb (b/c they don't take the time to read an annoying bubble popup) also end up w/ other problems with their data, and the review bomb helps to bring attention to it. Now I've lost that ability so that one person in the last 3 months who happens to have one problem w/o the other doesn't spam the thread.

Also, do I tell the user their post didn't go through? But does their actual review go through? If I don't tell the user why and they notice they then ask, and I have to figure out why, and now it's 1 of 4 reasons instead of 3 and idk which it is. People are in a hurry, if they even read the notice they very likely will not understand the difference. Emails start or worse random person who was just trying to time dump bounces.

Yes, code is easy, but people are not. Also your code doesn't work since it completely ignores any real life examples of how data is stored either in TV or XF. There is no "source" column on a post, since XF is not equipped to accept posts from random "sources" out of the box I'm not sure why you'd even assume that kind of thing would exist. A little patronizing to boil the problem down to something "so simple" when presumably you're well aware nothing is ever "simple" when it comes to programming a solution to a problem.

FWIW, I DM'd the guy which usually triggers an email and clears things up.
