I'm praying so hard this was about me cause I would eat any of your food for any reason at all without ANY hesitation AT ALL!

 

I have been deep cleaning my office and after putting my desk back against the wall and plugging everything back in, I kept hearing this noise. It was a scratchy buzzing sound every couple seconds. I thought it was the ceiling fan, but finally tracked it down. It was the outlet. Never actually had electricity making noise in my house. It is about 40 years old though, so it may be time to replace some wiring before it burns everything down.
