you can if it is a crappy paying, no benefits job, however I advise to have a back up plan like a savings or a at home part time gig for the slow mturk winter months.. (I know you are probably joking, but hey I quit my job a year ago, even though it wasn't because of this ..I just hated it).

I hate the logic question

"Somebody is Nth highest and Nth lowest in class, how many students are there?" because it has two valid answers, but they always want the less interesting option.

 

Oh, I'm not joking. I don't like the customer service part of my job but everything else is fine, some weeks I can almost match my earning post taxes with mturk if I don't get overtime. Although all in all I realize I actually work more doing mturk than I do on my real job with all the downtime.

Ahh customer service. I did that but with techs. I made $$ but in the long run I had to look at my health. I haven't lost a lot of weight (between 10-13 pounds depending on the week) but my blood pressure is no longer 170/110 and I am not having panic attacks/anxiety so it is a win for me . You really have to debate the pros and cons of quitting a job. I may have been slightly foolish money wise but I feel a whole lot better mentally and physically (well except for today because I am fighting a cold /allergies).
