My son just asked me if corn was a vegetable. This was strange to me because he absolutely knows it is. So I respond back with of course it is. Without missing a beat he follows up with "Does that mean that popcorn is a vegetable?"


He's clearly working on a completely different level.

Also for those like myself that didn't know the answer. The kernel of a cob of corn is considered a grain while the entire cob is considered a vegetable.
