You could just drill a hole through the side of your home and run a plastic tube out to constantly drain the bucket like Spectrum will do to wire your home for cable. /s

 

The new ones blow the water out in a fine mist through the exhaust hoses. I have had one for 5 summers, never had to drain any water

 

The new ones exhaust the water out the vents. No need for buckets

 

You can tell Spectrum "dude, there is a wire that comes in to the home, you dont need to wire that room from the exterior."

"Sir, we need to drill through the exterior of your new home."

"No you dont."

"I already have the drill out. We're doing this."

 

Yeah but that's, like, improving work conditions. This was a petty bunch. People would literally just turn it off and live without AC if it got full during their shift, and leave it or the next shift to deal with.

The portables, don't do a good job from what I've seen.

LG seems to be the one go with from what I've been coming across and my room is well the issue....

I have an office in a loft room that sits off to the side of my living room. The center of my house is the only part with the ceiling vault so basically my office sits over the top of the bedrooms, so basically I sit right underneath the vaulted ceiling and it's hot as fuck up here and it also makes my living room hotter...

Other issue the room is roughly 20x20........but the whole side of it is wide open to the living room with no wall, I have a picture of this if anyone doesn't understand.

LG is good

 

Only downside of LG is I have to order it because literally no stores here have them.
