I'm gonna say that I will 100% never use glass dishes for my bread >.>

Just, personally. Have never been happy with the result. I usually go cast iron, baking stone, or enameled cast iron for bread. I won't touch glass or even a metal pan, just me tho!

I use small amounts of oil alllll the time, especially when I'm trying to avoid over flouring something! It helps the dough not stick while proofing, which is great with specific types of dough.

 

I have never used cast iron, a baking stone, or enameled cast iron. Not due to any aversion, just because I don't have those. I've always used glass or metal.
