I feel like that study was padded with a whole lot of people doing ScoutIts and nothing else.

 

But hey, what would a SENIOR researcher at Microsoft like Siddharth Suri know about how math works anyway? Can we really expect these authors to have that kind of standard for their work?

 

So nice they could monetize us workers they are saying are being exploited. If they give a shit, give us the money they earn from this book.

 

They've never actually cared about workers, they're more interested in virtue signalling about an issue that isn't really as huge as they make it out to be.

It's "researchers" cough cough, I use that term lightly, like this that give legitimate researchers doing God's work on actual legitimate topics that gives all researchers a bad name.

My MS is research heavy, so this double pisses me off. Don't use research to make up fake issues, for Pete's sake!

We all need to publish a book about the type of crappy research he did on us here. Completely unethical. There is zero chance that would have passed the IRB I had to use to get my research approved.

 

What the hell this is making me not even okay with doing csats now

Yet they're suffering so much. You wonder why people are willing to work for below minimum wage and then it turns out they're just supplementing their "real" job and most people who actually rely on mturk as their primary income aren't doing nearly as terrible.
