I didn't get paid a bonus off that hit despite being promised a bonus. Then the Dallinger version posted like 3 times and no one has gotten a bonus from that either I think?

 

Honestly unless you're doing something wildly inaccurate like just AFK'ing the HIT then coming back w/o adjusting your time or w/e you'll be fine.

Some variance is expected, and if you notice even the fastest survey takers here really aren't that much faster than the average.

I did have TV disable accounts of people who are actually taking 2x the amount of time than everyone else, and who are taking exponentially longer than the "known" normal users (people who actually read the darn survey lol) because if that's happening something is really wrong with the data (what, I do not know, but I know its not helpful to the average users & hides work which is a huge nono for me).

There's nothing wrong with being slower than RA on HITs.. TV shouldn't be a competition/speed run platform. In fact its preferable if you are because it makes the data more appealing to the average user (hence having averages!) but too much deviation in either direction probably means either the script is malfunctioning or the user is completing HITs in a manner that actually makes no sense (if a user is writing 8 pages in the comment box or something.. that isn't actually helpful data haha)

PITCHFORK THAT MAN! @NotASingleClare may wanna check your bonus on that HIT, did it actually pay out?
