thanks, but it's for yarn. it has holes in it and ideally is heavy with a wide base. so it is less likely to flip over when yarn is flying off a ball through a hole in the bowl. it's put upside down on a sofa or floor.

yeah the small cereal bowl sized ones go for $35-$65 and people buy them. those aren't even big enough to hold the common, big sizes of yarn skeins from walmart. it's ridiculous how much they cost.

Or I took one of those fabric cubes that are so popular for storing kids' items on shelves and cut a hole in the side and put the yarn in there.

$300 is crazy for that unless you want to support the artist's work, and in that case I say go for it, it's awesome to support people's creativity.
