@turker you prob would like Ally bank for turking as long as you don't need cash deposits. The other one I see suggested that is also good is schwab (also has a $100 sign on bonus so that is neat) but if you want your cash to go through ACH Ally supports the 'new' 1 day ACH thing after you meet some requirements. I don't know if AMP --> Ally does the 1 day thing but it would to your other banks when moved from Ally.

Yes but there are steps to avoid it, like having a work direct deposit of +however much, etc, I would say fees-wise it is basically a normal bank.

 

schwab lets anyone sign up with them and use their checking. They open a broker account and put the $100 into it but you never need to use it and can move it to your checking account without any issues.

No fees, unlimited ATM fee refunds, and no foreign exchange fees.

Is that a service that they only provide for high end customers / businesses? I feel like that could easily be the case.
