guys, it's easy to make fun of people, but it's also important to remember that 1. english isn't everyone's first language (nor is it required to be) 2. learning disabilities are a thing 3. mental illness is a thing 4. being too old/too young to know internet things is a thing 5. the person is trying to learn, albeit in weird ways, but trying

and most importantly, it costs nothing to be a compassionate person, and it's not difficult to realize that other people are also people and deserve to be treated like a person even if they do things that are socially awkward or not wise

edit to add: there's also the possibility of them being a troll, in which case i'd rather give them the benefit of the doubt that they're mentally retarded, rather than an idiot on purpose.
