    lol it's a big laptop, it's not really hanging off in the pic at all, plus I tuck it slightly behind that 3rd monitor 99% of the time and I knew THAT would bother him. just forgot to space out the monitors apparently. sorry, grandpa. :emoji_unamused:

    We have all of our towers underneath on some shelf boards. Deskwise, my husband bought a laminate countertop and attached it to the wall, so we could all sit side-by-side. I've seen some people going fancy with butcherblock countertops combined with some Ikea drawers. :)

    My kid has my desk. Since both of us were "working from home" this last year we had to rock paper scissors lizard spock for the desk and he won. I did get a decent "desk" for my laptop that I can prop up on the coffee table or use in my lap like it is right now. Next to me is a filing cabinet that is my end table, and I have a "bin" with all the items I need regularly on top of it (pens, nail file, back scratcher, scissors, measuring tape, fan for hot flashes, lol...)

    Below coffee table is a basket with stuff I need for work (USPS stamps, various form stamps, envelopes, paper clips, etc) and I sit in an oversized arm chair.

    And I need my chiropractor rn and I don't wonder why.
