Was going through my emails and came across this, from my first week on mturk

Approvals and payments that occurred this week:
- Number of HITs approved: 132
- Number of HITs rejected: 3
- HIT reward earned: $16.26
- Total Amount earned this week: $16.26

Is that good?

 

Better than my first week lol.

 

Probably better than my first month, lol.

 

I have 53,000 HITs and 7 rejections. I got four of them my first week falling for scam requesters before knowing about TO.

Yeah those 3 rejections were from transcription scams. Never transcribing medical data again.

 

Worse than some, better than some
Is it good though? Can't say without knowing how many hours you spent. The question is: do you think it's good and do you like how you've progressed from there to where you currently are and where you'll be as you stick with it?

hitfinder is same as hitfinder, right? So, MTS is just basically sum of some other scripts but nicer?

I can't remember exactly (was 2008) so long ago but I think it took a couple months of a friend bugging me about doing work on Turk before I finally did a hit

 

I had the grace of MTG to guide me on my way
without them I would've been in Brelig hell for 3 days before I never looked at mturk again lol

I think my first weeks on mturk, I made more money posting HITs with adfly on HWTF than I made from actually doing HITs.

 

I meant it kind of sarcastically. Most of that money came from transcribing 1 minute clips with multiple speakers for 10 cents. -5/5 pay
