The $3.50 email habits hit isn't working for me :emoji_rolling_eyes:

I get past the consent, entering information, and the instruction page, then... blank screen. Except for the 'show instruction' button at the top of the page, and the unclickable 'I am done!' button. Poo. At least there's a long timer so I can come back to it later.

I'm sure they mean the warm-up you do before your real workout. From your description, that's a good route to try. And very good visiting the doctor.

you're still in the phase where you need to stay consistent. If you feel like you're not getting results in a certain area try others, look up basic calisthenics and consider finding a pool to swim in. Just know that I'm biased against any workout machine.

Bias is fair, I know machines can only take you so far, you can easily hurt yourself with poor form, etc. I'd be fine with jogging - as soon as my weight won't make my joints hurt.

And I'd kill to have access to a gym that had zumba and water aerobics and what not. I guess I'm making enough money turking now, might be worth it.

3 times a week, up to 45 minutes each. 5 of warm up and 5 of cool down. Usually Tuesday, Thursday and a weekend day. Then I do a full body muscle workout on various machines. Including my legs.

Just got back from my son's first t-ball game.

You know that family in walmart that think they are the only people in the store? They have one kid trying on shoes in the middle of an aisle, another one is riding a bike in a circle, and the other one is looking for a stranger to wander off with, all while they have 3 empty carts for some reason blocking the other half of the aisle?

As a kid, t-ball was bad ass...as an adult, it's like trying to deal with 20 sets of these people ^^^^^^^^

Water, water, water. Also BCAA's. If heart rate isn't in the zone you aren't pushing hard enough. Try interval training, or the stair mill. When lifting weights shorten rest periods. I get a large exercise ball and do crunches between sets. No down time.

When I was a kid I played T-Ball for one game, and then my mother never brought me back. I was lying on my back making "grass angel's" in the outfield. T-Ball is...fun. ;p

My wife is a personal trainer and a nutritionist. I am a fitness nut and Law Enforcement officer. My advice isn't just my first instinct. You asked about pre-workouts...I don't think that they are for you.

Elliptical - 45 min sounds like a lot, but I could walk really slowly on a treadmill and say I was on it for an hour. If there is a bike or stairmill (Stair master/machine) available, I would keep changing your cardio. Work some interval training. 3 minutes of a decent pace followed by 1 minute of all out. Either you run harder, pedal faster, or increase the resistance. I would say that you will get more out of 15 minutes of that, than the 45 min your spending now. I said water, water, water...How much do you realistically drink a day?
