05/30 - This Week is Taking Too Long Thursday!

All this c-sats talk - I haven’t caught a single one today; there hasn’t even been one registered on Panda Crazy and I’ve been running the ‘search’ panda since this morning.

Did a bunch the other day and a few yesterday… but there was one, just one, yesterday… that I was iffy about submitting and saying they passed (I was being nice and even watched the vid twice – looked like they did better the 2nd time through). I sure hope I didn’t get the ban hammer over that!

Wouldn’t it just show up purple if you’re banned? But with none of them showing up on my search or it triggering my delayed-ham mode, how the heck do I figure out? I’m nervous now as they really help and many times push me over goal - HELP! lol

 

It is easier when only one person works.

 

A search panda won't ever show purple unless you get an actual mturk block.

Go run a random csats panda and see if it turns purple.

 

They actually started showing up on my scraper again with the block qual. And yes, it will turn purple if you aren't qualified to do the hit. Also, don't waste your time watching videos twice, C-Sats are already underpaid as it is.

In the future if you're worried about it just go to TV's website, load C-SAT's profile, then click on "HITs" - copy a group-id (the long string of letters/#s) and create a panda for it.. it'll turn purple if you're not qualified

idk, maybe somewhere in sound / microphone settings you can turn down or turn off the "Microphone Boost" or AGC setting and see if that helps.

Maybe try holding mic farther away from mouth?

When making adjustments you can also use free sound software (such as Audacity) to do a test recording and view the wave to see you're getting a good amplitude, without maxing out aka clipping.
