Feel free to disagree with me, b/c I get its personal choice & all that, but I think the idea of attracting possums (which are nasty, vile, angry, disease ridden creatures) versus killing a few honey bees makes zero sense hahaha.

I've always figured my teeny, tiny patch of lawn that I spray will do essentially zero harm. I, sadly, do not matter in the ecosystem of the world. As long as massive farms are spraying this stuff, the bees are going to die no matter what I do. And I recognize that attitude is probably a little crappy & contributes to the problem, but I don't believe it does so in a meaningful way.

I also just don't spray my flower producing plants, but I have no clue if that works or not but given the crazy # of bees/yellow jackets (and unfortunately wasps who have learned the side of my house == death but the big bushes == safe) I think it works alright.

Again, YMMV, just saying I personally think its doable w/o a huge negative impact to the world at large :flail:

It's not just one tiny patch of lawn doing it that causes problems, but the attitude of "my tiny patch of lawn doesn't matter" being thought by millions of people that does.

He once brought a small coin purse filled with a bunch of SSNs.

We just kind of quietly went :flail: and gave it back to the owner.
