    Every time I check the end of one of those Korean dramas to see if it is a full episode for Sergeys, I get really sad and emotional from the music they play :(

    I was just about to ask in our PM but you beat me to it. Oh man I'm so excited! There are a few drummers I bow down to, but Carey is on another level. He's honestly more mathematician than drummer, it's insane. I usually give metal drummers a lot of shit for having drums they never use just to look cool, but he fully utilizes his kit and makes it sound even bigger than it is somehow, while still sounding incredible. Blows my mind. And 2 hours! So awesome. I actually prefer those types of shows. There are some bands that bring like 3 bands in then the headliner ends up with a 30 minute set. It's like ??? I paid money and dragged my geriatric self to come see you, not these people. I went to "an evening with Machine Head", no opener, machine head for 2 hours, best show ever. And for my... I think 21st? birthday, my dad got me tickets to Billy Idol (I know, I know, shut up, I can't help it, love me some Billy) when he was performing for a dvd concert series thing so it was only him for 2.5 hours. And now that type of show for Tool, I'm so excited.

    (okay finally empty queue so I can finish this) I'm so glad you had such a good time! Especially since it's the type of show you wait years to see.

    Birdnerd moment: HOLY SHIT I JUST SAW AN ORIOLE HERE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER! What a beautiful voice! Yay. I hope they're moving into the neighborhood. Our little backyard farm in the hood has been attracting a lot of new wildlife this year.
