a little abnormal, usually hits doesn't dry up this early. Like the only hit to drop for me in the last 30 minutes was one 25 cent hit from SCC. That's kind of shit.

Nope. You can try requesting, but unless a qual is auto granted or has a test attached, you're not going to get it that way. In most cases, you need to wait for a qual hit. A lot of the time it will literally say qual in the hit title. Other than the Qual tab on mturk itself, there's no separate database.

Hits are behind hard to get quals because the requesters closed them. They aren't currently looking for new workers. When they need new workers, they'll put out hits, but otherwise, they just flat out don't want more people at this time.
