Although I have a bone to pick with everyone who failed to warn me the poop diapers become toxic nerve gas capable of clearing a war zone when babies start eating solid food. Goodness gracious it's sooooooooooooooooo bad.

Hmm maybe that's the corona silver lining - I can't see my niece and nephew, but also don't have to change the new solid food diapers
Also they're walking now - well the boy is walking, the girl is full on running. Get ready for that nightmare.

How old are they? She's starting to pull up on stuff and can wobble herself upright as long as she's got something to hold onto lol.

Crawling went from like "haha you can only spin in a circle uselessly" to outright "please don't chuck yourself down the stairs while I get changed" in like a week, so kinda nervous on shipping times of baby gates vs her "IM FREE DADDDY" progression

weird, mine told me like the first page i needed a gdamn hole punch. i was like nope, ok, youre already asking a shitton to have me download all these pages one by one, staple them, REMOVE THE STAPLE I JUST PUT IN, and then scan them one by one and make a file out of each.

 

My nephew is a little rambling man. Can't keep him contained. Look away for two seconds and he's gone like the wind. Have fun with that phase too.

 

When does the reporting-age-in-months thing stop? They are 15 months. Baby girl has been walking for over a month now, the boy just started last Wednesday (but he had some medical stuff that delayed it we think). There was definitely a standing phase for the girl where she didn't need to hold on to anything but couldn't actually self propel, so maybe you'll get that warning phase as well

I'd say 36 months because of clothing sizes. My sister's boy just had his second birthday and spent it learning how to climb up and down stairs.

Ok stair climbing ability will actually be a help - it's a hell of thing carrying them both up every time. Long past were the days we could do both at once, now there's a downstairs baby jail where one waits while the other is transported.
