I have the email address of their supposed "research group" from the introductory page. It's a gmail account but the survey header says "Michigan State University". So that's weird. I already contacted the requester so I'll hold off writing until Monday, but I think I was rejected because they reached their quota of women or because I wouldn't go around recommending a store to my friends just because the store called me a "superior customer" and asked me to share info with others about the store w/ no benefit to me. Guess maybe I'll try to find the contact for MSU's ethics board.
