At menards some crabby sue was grinchinf about how she can't breathe while wearing a mask when told she can't go in the store without one.

If she "can't breathe" because of a mask - I can't imagine how poor her breathing will be if she catches the virus.

People are such princesses

 

I feel like people saying "I can't breathe" because of wearing a mask is kind of uhhh....yikes?

 

And you'd think Matt's coworkers would care like...even a little?! Nope, Matt had to go into work once in the past month and then immediately found out that someone got sent home who lied about being exposed and wasn't wearing a company provided mask...they just pushed his complete return date back another month because we apparently can't trust adults. My friend, with the fiance in the hospital going thru chemo, got told by her supervisor at another big aero company (where she works on a freaking defense project) to stop being uptight about her coworkers not wearing masks and whatnot. Like, HOLY FRICKEN SHIT, her fiance has no immune system and she can't see him if some asshat sneezes on her. I feel awful for the both of them.

 

To be fair, some days I feel like I've gone insane when I do read the text.

 

I have an "I don't give a crap" story too. A friend organized a drive-by birthday parade for their grandpa. After the drive-by, everyone parked and got out to have cupcakes in their front yard and take pictures. It was basically just a covid-themed birthday party, instead of actual covid caution.

 

This is why I don't go outside.

That's why the bot's company has him at home and not back at work like some of them are, my janky ass lungs he had to go in for like a half day to get some measurements and then skidaddled as fast as he could.
