I'd do most surveys with that pay rate but since it's math I'm almost definitely going to return it. I have my masters and am pursuing my PhD in math right now. I refuse to do math for sub 20 an hour. It just feels wrong.

 

It was high school level math at worst. Most of the time was waiting lmao

 

Doesn't matter. I demand good pay for math. I'm underpaid as a TA so the least they could do is at least pay me as much as I get paid as a TA.

 

It sounds like you are being overpaid by those TAs. I mean nobody needs more than $6/hr according to some blogs from 2005.

Pros:
If you've done more than 100-200 surveys on mturk, this thing was a legit breeze.

Its most definitely annoying, don't get me wrong, but its nothing strenuous and frankly if you're familiar with the typical survey questions you already have this thing on like 80% auto-pilot.

The requester is nice & asks if you've seen all the questions before so you end up getting paid either way without mucking up their data. I didn't mind it.

Its still super annoying & repetitive.
