    Did you find him just roaming around? Poor dude looks like food has been scarce. If you can handle not getting attached then maybe foster and get him healthy for adoption with w/e local place you have there.

    If the poor guy needs a home and is that skinny, you could always foster him until you can find him a good home. I've fostered a few dogs over the last couple years for that very reason. I once fostered a dog because the shelter was going to put her down and I thought she was super sweet, took me 4 months but I found her a great home and she was much better off!
