lol I remember dialup that was so old you took the phone off the cradle and sat it on the modem... none of these fancy wires that plugged directly into the computer.

I remember being screamed at every time my parents wanted to use the phone while I was on the computer.

 

First I was told I need to do the ones I had...when I didn't have any...... then I was told I failed the check????

 

I remember, not because I'm a pioneer but because my family was poor.

The only reason my dad upgraded from dial-up to dsl finally (we were poor and he was cheap), was because we always wanted to be on the internet at the same time. He watched a lot of internet porn.

 

Yeah a lot of us are getting that.

 

It physically hurts me that the text is cut off.

 

That feeling when you've been downloading a 60mb file for an hour and someone picks up the phone.

 

I just convinced them to upgrade from 1.5 mbps, so I'm choosing my battles here.
