I did but not till they were mostly gone so only got a hundred or so in

I used to gobble these up, but I actually passed on the most recent one. I'm waiting it out to see how this requestor pans out in the long run. I have done two from them with no problems, but that rejection and a bunch pending made me real leery.

 

I just checked and i got it as well with a 91 lol hopefully they come through with another batch

 

If I had to guess the quals and the batch are throttling now because of all the people trying to do them because they keep getting talked about extensively the past few days. We all get screwed over now. Anyway, I'm out. Goodnight.

 

I thought I was going to the low one having caught a little over 140. That's less than half of what I caught last week, though.

 

I guess I got lucky this time.

 

It's always been an unspoken rule not to post about batches publicly. It sucks, but you gotta keep them quiet. There's mad lurkers tryna steal your nickles.

 

I'd note, in this case, that Flying Fish are almost universally available and have extensive TV reviews at like $30/hr too, though; regardless of whether they were talked about or not, these batches are doomed to throttling from the start so I wouldn't waste frustration on them

 

Yes but posting about the qual on a public forum before the batch is even released after talking about how much money has been made off it for the past few days is going to cause people to do it who may not have noticed it. For some of us mTurk is our full time job so it can be frustrating when batches are repeatedly talked about on here for hundreds of workers to see.

 

To me it's sort of the principal of the thing more than anything. If someone does the work and gets the quals and HAMs on the whole batch, more power to em, I just don't like the idea of people sniping them off the forum.

I don't disagree, though forums have also been this way for a decade now so its also a case of picking your battles, I guess? flying fish isn't the one to get mad about
