I liked the first one, after that nope. I did have to explain the plot of the first one to Matt a dozen times- he had some problems with the logistics of the stolen gold/blood thing.

 

Teenage girls + Johnny Depp drive the entire franchise. I believe this explains most of Tim Burton's movies as well.

 

Just watched that Jumanji trailer. It's like they're squatting over Robin Williams' grave and taking a big ol' dump in there.

In all seriousness, my favourite scene of the entire trilogy is the opening of the third movie in the train station.

 

Hollywood found out they can make people pony up money to force their kids to relive their childhood nostalgia and they're not letting this monster die until people stop throwing money at them.

 

And this will be the 2nd remake of Jumanji. (Although the other one didn't use the Jumanji name)
