I forgot to take a ball, which Frank could not figure out, as he kept sticking his face into my pockets to try and find the ball I did not have. He also kept searching for the bot, who walked out the door at the same time as us (not to go walking with us, tho) and Frank was CONVINCED we must have lost Matt, so he kept looking around for him and barking to try and get his attention, despite the fact he was not with us. He then brings me the branch he found for fetch and stares at me, waiting for me to chuck it. I love that dog I'm always impressed that both my dogs are just so dumb in very different ways!

Oof just got a message from my GI doc trying to set an appointment because we never got very far into my issues when the pandemic hit. Apparently he's out of commission with the virus for at least a cpl more months. The guy was sooo friendly and compassionate, but he was a very big guy and older, I hope he's gonna be okay.

Well it gets worse, my primary is making it like pulling teeth to get my scripts that this guy wrote refilled. One lady even suggested I was somehow abusing nausea medication and I had to ask her to please read the prescription and then please do that math with what the date is. I got an "ohhh......." not even a sorry.

 

Oh gosh, that sucks! I've had that issue with promethazine before, because I was also often prescribed codeine and I got accused of trying to abuse them by combining them like friggen Lil' Wayne or some shit. Which was, ya know, nucking futs. Wasn't my doctors at least, but a pharmacist who was borderline refusing to fill them. Ughhhh, I wish that wasn't happening to you! And then I switched doctors and the guy wanted me to take reglan instead of zofran/domperidone/etc and I point out that it gave me a seizure, for him to respond, "I mean, how bad? Maybe you could try it again?" HOW ABOUT NO NO NO!

It really blows when you have to advocate for yourself so strongly all the time, because it's already difficult enough to be saddled with health bs, without someone givin you grief on top of that. If you need to vent or organize Bearn Force 1 for a nausea med recon mission, you know where to find me!
