    Honestly, it's just going to take a lot of practice so you have more and more ways to identify things, and knowing which identification method has the best odds of finding something quickly. Or learning which ones are time traps as quickly as possible. Work flow is important too, but that goes for everything.

    Also, when people that have had the qual for a long time say something, pay attention.
