    So like, real talk here for a second, I know I have a tendency for snippy and/or bizarre replies so I always genuinely feel kinda awful when you seem stressed out over forum stuff. 20% of me wants to say something inapprop still, but the other 80% feels bad for being a snippy Grinch.

    i am against censorship and doing anything because 'someone might be offended'. i think that's bullshit.

    that doesn't apply here

    here is Chris' house. he could decide that mentioning unicorns wasn't allowed and that's that. it's not a free speech issue and there's merit to being professional. I have zero problems with any forum deciding any arbitrary rules.

    but in general, fuck people. i'm glad no one's decided any of my cherished childhood cartoons are political. I'm not sure how I'd take it if someone mocked them.

    Hey man, just so you know, censoring swear words isn't a new thing. It's been in the journalism best practices manual(s) for years, and newspapers have actually gotten far more lenient regarding profanity in recent years.
