The fans don't purposely feed them in the stadium. They regularly show up near the end of the game to scavenge all the food people drop in the stands. The stadium is pretty good about getting fans to not feed the gulls, but the gulls know there's food, and they can tell when a game is almost over, and they show up to wait for fans to leave and then swoop down and grab all the fries. And the fans don't feed them because when a lot of those birds show up at once, it's kind of scary. I've been there several times and THAT many birds at once is daunting! And you get shit on like crazy.

However, tourists do feed them like crazy on the wharf. They're always getting fed there, despite signs stating to not feed the damn birds.

I know there is a lot of bad out there about Amazon, and working for them (not as a turker but as a permanent or regular or temp employee).

But, thought I'd share a good thing. My cousin, who is the grandson of my aunt that just died, has worked for them for years. They gave him generous time off when she got sick and also after she died, and let him return part time without affecting his benefits/position/seniority, etc. However, he's not doing well, doing pretty poorly really, and they just laid him off. But that's not a bad thing. They didn't fire him, they told him to go to therapy and are paying for X amount of the therapy sessions, and once (if) the therapist signs off that he's ok to return to work they'll give him back his job.

I think that's pretty cool of them. We've all known he needs therapy but as he's a 23 year old adult none of us could force him to get help. Amazon just did, and it's working. He's getting help. That's pretty awesome of them. And I'm glad my cuz is finally getting the help he needs (he had a rough childhood, too, my auntie was really the only "secure" adult in his life in a parenting role, so losing her has messed him up bad).

Pros:
Typical guessing game with potential bonus i think. Took no more than 10-15 minutes (timer was off, not including wait time of full server).

Cons:
Server was full just left it loading for like 15 minutes. Paused timer then forgot to reenable it out of shock it finally loaded. Didnt tell if i got a bonus or not.

the college I went to has this weird period every winter where there are just tons of crows in all the trees on campus. it was always super eerie to walk through campus at night and see a huge flock of them fly out of the trees
