I'm still baffled someone thinks it's an ugly house LOL.

Like, what the hell is the bar if this is ugly? I can see a log cabin not being someone's taste, but it's an objectively nice place.

 

Was it the investment one? If so it looks like everyone is getting boned.

Everything has gone well so far, but I'm still nervous about the possibility of something blowing up before we close on the house

The home inspectors told us we made a really good choice for a first house (and that they both would want to live there lol) and it's structurally sound (needs new bathrooms badly, but nothing major) so that's good at least.

I'm freaking out a little! It's almost real now. I could be drinking wine on a log cabin porch a couple months from now.

 

The house is basically a giant cat scratcher (lol) with a bunch of nooks and crannies for him to perch on, he's gonna feel right at home!
