Pretty much. I know some people swear by them, but I don't really understand the point. I don't find they make me any more productive; if anything I spend so much time fiddling with them that I end up missing otherwise productive work. I'm sure there's people here who have a different work flow that can really benefit, but to my mind it's better to focus on just grinding out tasks, rather than waiting for something "good" to drop.

But hey, maybe if you do enough underpaid garbage that's so bad it makes people who make $200k/year think everyone on mturk is making $3/hr you'll get masters so you can do even more underpaid garbage.
