    ....bacon is pork, pork is the other white meat...you shouldn't wait, have it now:emoji_yum:...although why you would want to ruin yummy bacon with icky hot peppers I have no idea:dunno:

    Well the only white meat I eat is fish, but I give myself a weekend off every 2-3 months to eat any other meats I've been craving/missing. My birthday weekend is the next schedule break and I already have venison in the freezer waiting for me.~

    This bacon is now added to the list but I'll prob combine it with something else. Like, in some mac n cheese or this breakfast bread bowl thing I make where I line the walls of the bread bowl with bacon then fill with any veggies, cheese, and eggs.

    Bacon wrapped venison?...Is the bacon precooked in your bread bowl? It seems like it would be too chewy or raw tasting if it wasn't.

    That's an idea! I made Steak Au Poivre last time I had venison around. Might make it again. My aunt gave me a ton of meat so I have a lot of options.

    And yes! I cook it right before it gets too crispy. Hollow out the bread bowl, coat with butter, line with the pre-cooked bacon, fill as I stated above, putting the egg on last (I just crack and put it in, I scramble everything together once I take it out of the oven).
