of course thought of a ton of questions on the way home but that is always the case. They throw me throw me options out of left field and it takes me time to digest them and think of all the implications. I see my family doc in Aug and he also works in sports medicine so maybe he can help me with some general information on all the options being tossed around by different surgeons.

yeah absolutely. some of them are good at rattling things off quickly then pushing you out the door. i've always found it's easiest to write down questions as i think of them, then go in there literally with a notebook and pen and rattle them back at them, and write down their answers for further digestion. i take notes like i'm in school. i hope your family doc will help you choose the best option for you, it can get so confusing and frustrating, so it's good you have one you can truly trust who knows you the best.
