@dan that second wave of storms never did anything but rain for maybe 20 minutes. The microburst at 7pm was a doozy though, I guess even WGN came out here. After seeing all of the insane damage pics on Facebook, I'm so grateful all I experienced was losing power and I feel like a brat for whining about it. It was finally restored at 5am, and I heard them working on something around 3 because they were yelling at each other in the middle of the street, and my brain convinced me I was about to be in the middle of some suburban horror movie.

I fell asleep right around when we were getting that 10 o'clock band. It was pouring when I fell asleep, but must not have lasted too long as my rain gauges are only showing a bit over an inch of rain in total for everything we got.

On the Facebook police scanner pages, I see a lot of reports of them responding to downed trees and what not, but seems mostly by you or east of me.

Kinda uneventful up here.

Yard where I graded seemed to drain well. No puddling. Although muddy because no grass there yet.
