07/10 - Mellow Monday!

I got the Phantom 3 2? years ago, its nice and i got a ton of use out of it but I've been looking at the spark/mavic since they should be a bit more agile.

 

I actually noticed it a few min ago when someone pmed me a video and I was going to link it to them but you posted so

 

I'll let my husband know about that. I'm not sure why he was so set on a Phantom. Probably because they sell it at the Boeing Company store and he gets an employee discount lol. He met a guy at a park that had a phantom, and he offered my husband the chance to fly it, but hubby said no becuase he was concerned about breaking it. I decided that day to get him a practice drone (it was August).

 

I'm gonna wear a ski mask like a real criminal man. MUAHAHAHAHA.

 

Yeah, the propellers are easy to break (especially if you're near trees). If he hasn't already, have him check out CHARPU FPV on YouTube, dude has some awesome footage from his racing drones.

 

Those are still DJI products so he'd still get a discount, its just the the Phantom series are bigger and bulkier models. If he doesn't have one at all the Hubsan x4 is a fun little one that you can fly inside or outside and can take quite a beating before you can break it. Just get some extra propellers.

 

I got him the Hubsan with the FPV as his practice one. Glad to see it get's a phantom owner's approval I chose well.

Good job, I always suggest them to people who are just starting. Helps get comfortable with them while not risking hurtling 100s/1000s of dollars towards the ground.

that's the exact reason why I was even willing to fly it once. I suck though, it was hilarious. Lost a propeller for about 20 minutes.
