Yikes, I had no clue. Also, I see lots of research being conducted for free in other subreddits, so that's always an option for them. I frequent /r/pcgaming a lot (even though it degrades in quality by the minute) and over the past year can think of at least 5 different college students posting surveys there that people take for FREE. So there's definitely ways to obtain that data w/o throwing a tantrum on a throwaway account on /r/mturk lmao.
