07/13 - Thirsty Thursday!

Spherical Sun is showing up gray for me. I know they have TO.

 

Well, that's what it usually means. I've noticed that some requesters show up grey in logged HITs occasionally whether they have TO or not.

 

Sometimes (well awhile until you build up a cache) it is just that HF couldn't get a response from TO's servers so it stays blank.

 

@Kadauchi or anyone else have any idea why I can hear every alert under the sun (even ones I wish would shut up) from OW, PC and HF but not from HC caught two Joe Los this morning and they almost expired before I even knew there was anything in my que.

 

I'll give it a minute then. Like half of mine are gray.

 

HF only tries like once every 6 hours or so I think? Otherwise the servers would constantly crash and they already do.

 

Aren't you busy on the profile photos hit?

I did most of them last night, and mopped up what I could this morning. In the end, I got 201 of the original 240. Props to anyone that got them all in.

Wait, do people still say props?

 

It does that a fair bit. I just accept and check TO after if it's gray.

IIRC it has to do with not having a cached TO for that particular requester.

 

Is there a limit to how many you can do?
