    Welcome!

FWIW nowadays there is much less change over time since a lot of tools have matured and kind of settled themselves in.. For PC you're going to want to use HIT Forker to find HITs instead of the forums since most often HITs are gone by the time they're exported. That may be the biggest adjustment folks have to get used to coming back is that since tools have matured not using them is essentially like trying to carve the mona lisa with a toothpick.. Yeah I just made that up lol but hopefully you get the point :) The O & P buttons on Forker send HITs straight to PC to be collected, O == Once and will only accept one HIT (good for surveys) P just creates a general panda that'll collect as many as it can and you can fiddle w/ the options in PC from there.

Biggest thing after that is making sure to trim down your PC collection as you add new stuff (no more than 2-3 running, make sure to turn them off after a while). Aim for the duration of the HIT, so if it posts w/ a 1hour timer make sure the panda is off after an hour.

I know most people mention PC and Forker, but is there a big difference from MTS? I'm used to MTS and have never actually tried PC.

MTS is like Turker training wheels.. it's really good at being simple so you can get into the swing of things and learn the ropes without hurting yourself.

PC is like upgrading to a car.. it's fast, has bells/whistles, and you can kill yourself with it a lot easier lol. If you use it correctly, you can get from A to B (daily goal) a little faster, but if you drive it like someone on /r/idiotsincars you'll end up having a bad time so it just depends on your level of knowledge on the inner workings of MTurk (how to avoid PREs, when to turn things on/off, how PC itself does what it does, etc)

Def doesn't hurt to play w/ it on sats/sundays if you've got nothing else going on anyway
