My thoughts are the same. I think it's pretty much BS but the way they use it as an excuse to abuse us is nuts. By the time I'm done with several insulting "bot checks", I'm done with them. Between that and multiple threats of rejection, I'm not honestly sure this is the best way to get good data. Maybe that's just me, but I would want participants to feel comfortable spending their time on my survey.
