    My father-in-law (100%Polish) sometimes makes them with just a farmers cheese filling. Sooooo yummy. Just got back from a couple of weeks up at his place, and he made potato and onion instead and I almost cried (even though I do love them, i realllly wanted the cheese ones).

    My family is German, Irish and Pennsylvania Dutch, Daves is German and Czechoslovakian
    I used to think the Czechoslovakian dishes (pretty much the same as the Polish) were bland too but over the years I've added to his mother's recipes to add a little more seasoning in them

    They probably aren't at all authentic but I don't care they are freaking delicious! lol. I think this is the brand we get, but it's been awhile since I've bought any. They are kind of a pain in the butt to make since I don't like them boiled but rather pan fried, and we don't use butter anymore so kind of hard to cook them without.

    We did! I didn't get to do as much as I wanted, but we really did have a great time. I'm still craving more of that black raspberry ice cream. Then again, I'm also still feeling the mountain roads on the drive home every time I sit still.

    I wish I had a better inventory of batches so I didn't have to do surveys, but I don't so I slave away at some awful ones every now and then. I spend too much time idle, less then when I first started because I have a couple batches that drop here and there but I need some more quals.

    I can't boil them, they feel weird to me. I usually saute. Sometimes I'll deep fry and have a little sour cream and chives on the side with them. So good.

    Just put lots of Jalapeno's, Cayenne, and Garlic in it. That can fix almost anything.

    Bahaha. I have such a weak stomach I can't even handle fake medical scenes on Grey's Anatomy. I looked at a c-sat once and was like "well I guess I'll eat again tomorrow". Literally makes me get cold sweats. I'm such a baby!
