My 2 minute opinion:

I think the addition of TV has effectively destroyed the old standard definition of the survey content rule (being anything beyond the preview screen) - things like what you've mentioned are beyond the standard scope of work expected when entering a survey, and if the option is bailing out unpaid versus being forewarned what you're going to have to do its better for both parties that warnings get tossed out.

It'd be nice if workers found creative ways to mask the exact content (ie, not saying "yo this has like 5 attention checks on the 3rd page of the damn survey") but I think intent (which, granted, is difficult to judge) matters more than the actual content.

If it starts to become such a huge problem that it is compromising the work of academics then they can get off their asses and have their IRBs work to standardize the rate of pay and conduct in which their researchers across the country conduct their studies, voiding the need to have TV exist in the first place. But given the sheer amount of unpaid labor we do for them as-is I'm not going to expect y'all to sit and monitor every word thrown onto TV especially considering the volume that flies across it in a day.

If its egregious, by all means report/remove it. But if its something seemingly shared in good faith effort to inform/educate/lend a hand then Antagonistic crap (TO content) is more important to remove IMO.

 

I may take the tickets then.
