    I was going to say, there's a possibility that your local fire department might offer a pump out service especially if there's that much water down there... Depends on the fire department, you've got a better shot if it's a more rural volunteer FD.

    Oh no!! That is awful. How much have you gotten? Any damages? Meanwhile in Texas we are breaking records. I got in the car the other day it said it was 114. Today should be nice and cool and only 101...

    everything in my basement is a lose probably the furnace and water heater too but those are the landlords problem. I had a lot of stuff stored down there and it is all ruined and can't do laundry There is standing water several feet deep on many streets Hersheypark is under water and it is still raining

    I am soooo sorry! I am glad that at least some of it is the landlords responsibility. I really hope you had nothing irreplaceable down there and that dealing with insurance goes ok. I couldn't believe the picture you had posted of Hersheypark! It was awful. I sure hope the rain stops!!
